Highly experienced craftsman, three decades apprenticeship with master luthier Lou DiLeone of Orange, Connecticut.

Contact mail@mikeasetta.com or call at  860-685-1621 for information about set-up, adjustments, and seam repairs to complete overhauls and restorations of your double bass, violin, cello, or viola.

Mike cares for each bass as if he would be playing it himself, and repairs each instrument to withstand the heavy travel schedule to which his own instruments are accustomed.

Continually researching and upgrading his skill and knowledge, on recent travels to the Czech Republic and Germany he met with a number of the world's finest luthiers and double bass specialists.
