Mike cares
for each bass as if he would be playing it himself,
and repairs each instrument to withstand
the heavy travel schedule to which his own instruments
are accustomed.

Here Mike applies the final touches to an early 1800's bass from Paris, France. Cracks were repaired
without removing the top! Using the tools and clamps Mr. Asetta has collected
over his years of experience, strengthening pieces of wood were glued just with
access through the "f" holes. |
